Analyzing best policy responses to immediate aftermath emergencies and to ongoing structural issues, particularly systematic poverty that may hinder economic, institutional and social development in any given society. For CYIS it is a high priority to find sustainable solutions to threats posed to the well-being of people in underdeveloped areas of the world.
